The Tucson Toolkit is a five lesson water education curriculum designed for middle school students. It focuses on the water cycle, water supply, water usage, environmental concerns, and water conservation. The curriculum has been specifically adapted to fit into local science classes. Teachers in the Tucson area can request free student workbooks, shower timers and flow rate bags by contacting the Outreach Education Coordinator. Students can also receive low-flow showerheads for their homes to continue the process of being aware and responsible toward their personal use of water. |
