Classroom Materials and Registration

Too Good to Throw Away!

Too Good to Throw Away! is a three-part recycling education program designed for first through fifth grade learners. Students learn about and practice the 3 Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle – and have FUN in the process. The program, which is customized for grades 1-2 and grades 3-5, includes a pre-visit activity, an interactive 45-minute classroom presentation, and two post-visit activities. These activities provide practical knowledge and skills that will help students make intelligent decisions now and in the future. Students are given pencils made from recycled denim, magnets and flyers at the end of the classroom presentation.
