Outreach Scheduling : Too Good to Throw Away!
Classroom Materials and Registration

Too Good to Throw Away!

Too Good to Throw Away! is a three-part recycling education program designed for third through fifth grade learners. Students learn about and practice the 3 Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle – and have FUN in the process. The program includes a pre-visit activity, an interactive 1 hour classroom presentation, and two post-visit activities. These activities provide practical knowledge and skills that will help students make intelligent decisions now and in the future. At the end of the classroom presentation, students are given pencils made from recycled paper and magnets that describe what can be recycled in the City of Tucson.
